STOLA Placement Guidelines
A set of Placement Guidelines for Volunteers and Rescue Team members to follow when a dog is in need. Please remember that every situation is individual and these guidelines are to help you to make the best choices for each individual dog. All STOLA volunteers should be familiar with these guidelines.

Adoptions

A document that explains STOLA's policies from the adopting home's point of vew and describes what it may be like to live with a Saluki. Volunteers and Rescue Team Members should print the PDF version of this document and hand it out to anyone inquiring about adopting a Saluki.

STOLA Application for Adoption

Please contact the contact people listed for the dog you're interested in adopting. If you would like to fill out an application in general, go to the STOLA Team page and contact your regional coordinator.
PDF Version of the full application (revised 12/23) for Rescue Team members and Volunteers to download and distribute as needed. Important, if you send in, or distribute, an application form please email the support council with the name and address of the applicant, so we can watch for that form to arrive. If the applicant has not heard from us within two weeks, instruct them to contact the support council for follow up.

STOLA Adoption Contract

A field-tested adoption contract for Volunteers and Rescue Team members to download and print as needed. It arranges a formalized agreement between STOLA representatives and the new adoptive owners of a placement Saluki.

The online form is a brief form to fill out if you wish to be registered as a STOLA volunteer foster home. The downloadable PDF form is a formalized agreement between STOLA representatives and a volunteer foster home for a placement Saluki.
