Chris and Bill,

I may have told you that Jason has been telling me that he was going to follow Madge across the Rainbow Bridge. Well, today he did. A friend and I went out to the ocean for lunch and a walk, leaving Jason and Zoey in their Condo. When we got home, I went down to bring them up. Zoey came out running, as usual, but Jason was very still. He died in his sleep, we conjecture, as he was in sleep position in one of the beds. He looked very peaceful, as if he might wake up any minute, but I knew immediately that he was gone.

I knew you would want to know. Sweet boy, sensitive and loving. I’ll miss him, even knowing that he had a good life and a peaceful end.
