Bidding Opens January 24th, 2010!
STOLA’s Annual Fundraiser Auction on eBay will begin January 24 and will run for several weeks or until all items are sold. We will be adding 5 new items each day, and each item will accept bids for 7 days. This should give you plenty of time to see what is being offered and to place your bids.
This year we have some exceptionally good items to auction thanks to some very generous donors. There are around 40 decorative martingale, slip and buckle style collars, many in leather and all high quality. We will have some Saluki coats. There is wonderful jewelry - a lot of it with Saluki or Egyptian themes. There are some killer T-shirts with Saluki themes, many limited editions from Southern Illinois University, where the Saluki is their mascot. Plus - there is some great Saluki artwork and a few vintage and antique pieces along with other surprises.
STOLA is pleased to announce a venture which will be fun for everyone and a great money making opportunity for Saluki rescue. We will be running year round sales on the eBay auction site (like an on-line resale shop) featuring a wide variety of products for sale including jewelry, artwork, books, collectibles, antiques-whatever people like you are generous enough to donate. Then, each year, we will continue with the same big push auction as in the past where we rely on as many donors as possible to provide great Saluki-related items.

Since STOLA is a nonprofit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) tax status, donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, but please consult with your tax advisor for specific details.

WWe Can't Do It Without YOU!
To donate items to our auction, just mail your item to any of the volunteers above. We will gratefully accept ANY salable item - it does not need to be Saluki-related. Examples of what we need:
- jewelry
- gift baskets
- collectibles
- antiques
- designer clothing
- fashion accessories
- books, paintings, prints
- craft items
- and of course.....great Saluki stuff!
The auction crew representatives reserve the right to refrain from posting any items they deem to be unsuitable or unsellable, and to alter descriptions of the items in order to make sure they are accurately represented on eBay.
