It is with extreme sadness I report that my very first rescue Saluki crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. When Daphne first arrived here at the age of 3 years, she was terrified and extremely depressed. Never, to this day, have a seen an animal so depressed. I promised her way back then that I would never leave her. And I kept my promise to my white girl. I was with her to the end as she breathed her last in my arms on our sofa.

My little girl, you WILL be missed. What a joy you were.
